Introduction
The main aim of this booklet is to exemplify standards for Centres in Mauritius teaching Cambridge
International AS and A Level French (9094/02 & 8129/02), and to show how different levels of candidates’ performance relate to the subject’s curriculum and assessment objectives.
In this booklet three candidate scripts have been chosen to exemplify grades A, C and E. For each of the candidate scripts, the question is followed by an extract of the mark scheme used by examiners. This in turn is followed by the marked candidate response for that question with an examiner comment on performance.
Comments are given to indicate where and why
