L'histoire de " The Birthmark "

Aylmer est un scientifique qui était consacré à la science jusqu'à ce qu'il épouse Georgiana. La Birthmark de Georgiana est une tache presque rouge sur sa joue droite. Sa forme est semblable à celle d'une petite main. Cette tache ne dérangeait pas vraiment Aylmer jusqu'à ce qu'il soit marié avec Georgiana . Aylmer a abordé le fait de faire enlever la birthmark plusieurs fois avec Georgiana. Bien qu'elle n'était pas d'accord car l'homme qu'elle avait épousé devait l'accepter avec ses défauts. Pendant un certain temps après ils ont arreté d'en parler, mais Georgiana comprenait que sa birthmark gênait fortement son mari. Aylmer a même dit que la birthmark de Georgiana était synonyme d'imperfection. Un jour elle a changé d'avis, elle voulait que son mari lui fasse disparaitre sa birthmark. Aylmer met au point un remède pour Georgiana. Elle parle de mourir, alors Aylmer verse un peu du liquide sur une plante mourante et elle vit à nouveau. Elle boit ensuite le liquide clair et dort profondemment. La marque disparaît lentement et Georgiana réveille mais seulement pour dire à Aylmer qu'il a atteint son objectif, mais elle meurt.

His(her,its) shape is similar to that of a small hand. This spot did not really disturb Aylmer until he is married with Georgiana. For a while later they have arreté to speak about it, but Georgiana understood that his(her) birthmark hampered(bothered) strongly her husband. Aylmer even said that Georgiana's birthmark was synonymic of imperfection. One day she(it) changed opinion(notice,opinions,notices), she wanted that her husband made him(her) disparaitre
