According to the Chancellor’s Committee on Diversity, diversity is “the variety of experiences and perspective which arise from differences in race, culture, religion, mental or physical abilities, heritage, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and other characteristics.” If we understand well this definition, diversity is then no more than sharing your know-how and qualities with others that are different from yours, others with who you belong to, and with who you are forming a group of persons in order to operate a system.
