So, does globalization increase inequalities ?
To start with, it's important to notice that the globalization allows an increasing influx and spread of information, technical know-how and education between the countries. For example, new techniques in medicine and health knowledge can be taught worldwide and consequently save people. Secondly, globalization is the source of a cultural mix, as if we were just living in a “global village”. Each country is learning about other cultures. For instance, people in developing countries have more and more access to the internet and so they can share ideas and opinions with people of other countries. Consequently, people have become more tolerant with each other's culture. Then, one of the most relevant pros of globalization is an economic one. Indeed, now there's now a worldwide market that gives countries and the consumers many different options of products from all over the world. For example, in France you can eat peanut butter produced by the USA, by just going to the local supermarket !
These different examples show how globalization can be prosperous for wealthy countries and help spread their knowledge to the developing countries. However, globalization seems to have given us many benefits, but it also brought a lot of cons which mustn't be forgotten.
On the first note, European workers are under the pressure because they can lose their job at anytime. Indeed European companies relocate their production to the Asian countries because of the lower cost of labor which allows them to make elevated profits. Secondly, it is often argued that
