Motivation

My motivations for learn English are numerous :

I think it is important today to master a second language, whatsoever Slovenian, Romanian, Mongolian or Bulgarian. We don’t care what any language we can master. It’s not themore important. Me, if I’m studying English it’s because I was obliged ! After all, I could learn Moldovan in elementary but it’s was the same thing for everybody: English. After we learn English it’s just the language for international communication. But anyway, it’s important to master a second language. Wishing to work in an English country I need to master English. My first motivation is simplyrelated to the future that I’m given.

It’s possible, after brilliantly got my licence, I may not to get a work immediately. But I’m sure my master of English can be a plus on my CV. Be fluency in English is now a technical competence which is required by employers.

Learning English enable to open myself to another culture than mine. To my great regret, I travel few times. Learning Englishenable to me to travel “virtually” in countries like Malta, New-Zealand, Canada, India, and Ghana and therefore, open myself on the world.

My second motivation is cultural. I love learning about foreign cultures, something that my father, through his many travels, passed me. I found with English, unlike Slovak, takes us in several countries with different cultures. I want all the time to learnmore about these countries, their histories, their cultures ...

I appreciate the American cinema and I learn English for a better comprehension of this culture. I just regret movies are badly taught in class, I think there are so much to exploit.

Studies habits (how do you organize your learning ?)

(The way I organize my own work is proper to the schedule I had on the first semester. Ithink for the second semestre, it will be change. This part is proper to first semester.)

The work of a student doesn’t to lie to class, sitting, listening the teacher, notes his/her lessons and go back to our house. It would be too simple. It’s important to provide a personal work dephtly for understand the lesson. Bring things for lesson with Internet, ask the teachers or read regularlyhis/her lessons are useful for a student who did not understand the lessons.

To begin, I must admit when a lesson is understand, for my part, I do not reread it and I work on it bit. I prefer to concentrate on subjects where I have problems.

Outside school holidays

I’m working a little at night. I stop around 20:30. But the evening, before going to bed, I read for one hour which allows me towork my Literature. Usually, I scribble notes on my book. When I finished the book, I’m doing a short summary on the page and I try to see what the author would say, the morals. After, I’m taking notes on lessons and before a test I always do a second reading.

The main problem I have is time. Monday and Tuesday I take the bus to go home but I’m in Romans at 7:00 p.m, I’m home at 7:15 p.m. Ispend little time at my work these days since I eat until 20h. I can not devote 30 minutes to my work. It is useless.

Wednesday it’s different. I start at 13:00 and I end at 14:00. I leave my house at 11:30 and I get up around 9 a.m. I have so 2:30 for my personal work. I take this opportunity to read quickly my lessons or I go to Internet to find some answers to my questions. I direct myself verylittle to my teachers. When I take the train, I reread sometimes my lessons yet. I am dedicated to do my homework in the evening and Sunday afternoon.

On Thursday I provide a work only at night despite my amazing free time which starts at 10:00 a.m. I enjoy my friends that day in a context that is different from the faculty. I do the same thing on Friday. I spend 1:30 a day of work Thursday...
