Introduction:

For the first year student of a two-year post A-level B2 ,to prepare a Business School at St Pierre Institute in Brunoy , I realised a work placement in Guatemala located in Latin America from May to July 2010.

The work palcement took place in the NGO( non-governmental organization) with non-profit, which is named «CONEVIH», etablished in Guatemala city.

Activity:

CONEVIH is offering prevention services on the HIV and the AIDS by awareness-raising action to companies in order to obtain a healthier and more productive working strength for the country development.
The aim is to prevent, in companies the consequences of this disease and to reduce the discriminations concerning this disease in order to increase and improve the production of companies for a better country development . It's also intervenes with others themes as the drug, the alcohol, vertical transmision of the HIV (mother to the child), the violence so on... Services that CONEVIH offering to companies:

A company can be a CONEVIH's member , in that case , it has many information services and training on any themes that the company desir to follow . Indeed, by becoming member, the company has free access to the training, the meetings, also in vaccination campaign and to the obtainings diploma program concerning the HIV / AIDS which will be recognized all over the world.

This program is taking place every Friday and Saturday from 8 am till 1 pm. It is also possible to attend the courses on -line via internet ( web-site set up by CONEVIH to attend in live the courses) for peoples are living in the other country or faraway from Guatemala City. The obtaining diploma is during 20 weeks with 1 week of training course. Following this diploma peoples are having obtained it, could work in any body in connection with the HIV / AIDS, as hospitals, laboratories, pharmacy, and also in companies or NGO(NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION).
