I. Les différentes écoles (généralité)
First, in Japan, dental schools are divided into three. There are three types: - governmental, public locals and private. There are 29 dental schools in japan, 11 are governmental, 1 is local public and 17 are privates. Public local school is managed by prefecture.
Dental studies last 6 years , whose two years of pre-dentistry and 4 years of dentistry. After 6 years, students obtain a degree Doctor of Dental Surgery

II. Conditions d’admission
To be accepted, students must be 17 years old (minimum) and they must have their secondary studies’ degree. However the entrance test is different in the three types of school.
