While some people hold a belief that wearing school uniform is not a good idea, since they think that it means these schools deprive students’ rights to choose what they want to wear and what clothes are fit for them, some of others think that wearing school uniform should be mandatory. In my perspective, I would go for the latter point of view for the following reasons.

The first is that you would be able to represent the school in public, give the school a good reputation and also encourage students to behave outside of the school. The second is to be easily identified by the public, it would be ideal if a student was lost and unable to find their way back. The third is the practical implications it has, I mean it allows students to reflect on their homework and revision without having to spend an hour deciding which shirt to match with pants so that it also allows students to dress easily and quickly, which also improves their punctuality. The fourth is the equality between the members of the school. School? It’s a place for study not a for be a fashion killer . Many low-income families can’t afford a school uniform. Their child was not wearing a school uniform would only help their financial situation. Finally, schools can teach their students a sense of discipline when mandating a rule telling that wearing school uniforms is compulsory. Being taught this lesson every day, students can gradually form a good habit and attitude that can be very beneficial and crucial for them in the future when they have to obey many rules in their companies and in the society.
