INTRODUCTION
‘’ No good policy undertaken to control the costs or fares in field of transport ‘’, is one of the daily complain. We are used to hearing here and there from Ivorian populations. Thus, the problems faced up by those populations are driven to the field of road transportation fares: this causes us to address this: uncontrollable rising of transportation fares. But to better carry out our study we have come to take the case of round transport in Côte d’Ivoire.
What are the causes of that increase? How does that can impact upon the population? What are the governmental measures to solve this problem?
Those are the different points that will be subject of discussion in the following sections of our analysis.
THE TYPES OF TRANSPORT
Broadly speaking there are four kinds of transport:
1. Road transport
The Ivorian road network is very extensive. Road transport is the means of travel and trade in Côte d'Ivoire. It takes two forms: The urban transport with taxi( meters taxis or communal "wôrô wôrô, the mini vans or" Gbaka "and buses SOTRA. Inter Transportation - Urban:( is dominated by the coaches.
The road allows the movement of passengers, the distribution of goods and services, development of trade within and outside, and also contributes to increased government revenue through various taxes: the sticker, the license, the car registration, insurance.
2. Air transport
Côte d'Ivoire has three international airports (airport FHB Yamoussoukro and Abidjan). It also has 14 airports of which 3 have paved runway (Korhogo, Man, San - Pedro).
