[EMP] Laboratories, Inc. (“[EMP]”) submits this letter in support of its H-1B nonimmigrant petition and extension of stay application for Mr. [FN] [FN]. [EMP] would like to continue to employ Mr. [FN] as its Chemist II, at an annual salary of at least $84,774, including benefits, subject to our standard employment at will policies.
I. Background
[EMP] was established in 1981 as a subsidiary of Ranbaxy to manufacture pharmaceutical and over the counter prescription generic drugs. [EMP] has the advanced manufacturing capabilities and processes to create quality over the counter (“OTC”) branded and generic products. [EMP] is one of the nations top quality manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, with a reputation in excellence in the pharmaceutical industry. [EMP] offers comprehensive development scale up and manufacturing of diversified line of OTC and Rx generic pharmaceuticals assuring consistent, superior quality of equivalent or comparable generic products that rival the leading national brands. [EMP] currently employs more than 160 individuals and last year had gross revenues exceeding $43 million.
II. Mr. [FN] Continues to Classify for H-1B Nonimmigrant Classification as a Professional
[EMP] understands that its H-1B nonimmigrant petition extension will be approved if it can demonstrate that: (1) Mr. [FN] will continue to occupy a professional specialty position, and (2) that he has the requisite specialized academic credentials and professional experience to fulfill the position. [EMP] submits that it has amply satisfied these requirements.
