Prince William & Kate Middleton Reveal Wedding Invitation
Prince William and fiance Kate Middleton have sent out invitations to a reported 1,900 guests for their much anticipated April 29 nuptials
Commanded by the Queen, the Lord Chamberlain's office distributed the precious invitations to "The Marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, K.G. with Miss Catherine Middleton." The invitation says the ceremony will begin promptly at 11 a.m. and guests are expected to dress in "uniform, morning coat or lounge suit."
The residence of Clarence House, where Prince William is still living with his father Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles and his brother Harry, provided an official timetable for the day of the marriage of William and Kate. Here is the planned timing:
Between 8:15 and 9:45, arrival of the General Congregation of the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey
From 9:50, the governors, prime ministers and diplomatic corps of the countries of the kingdom come to the Abbey, along with other guests.
10:10 - The groom and his best man Prince Harry leaving Clarence House to Westminster Abbey, where they arrived at 10:15 am three quarters of an hour before the bride.
10:20 - Members of royal families from foreign countries come to Westminster Abbey from Buckingham Palace.
10:20 - Carole Middleton, the mother of the bride, and his son James left the hotel at 10:27 to arrive Goring at Westminster Abbey.
10:25 - Members of the Royal Family (except those already mentioned above) leave Buckingham Palace to arrive at 10:30 to Westminster Abbey.
10:35 - The Royal Family members leave Buckingham Palace following to arrive at 10:40 at Westminster Abbey:
