All the European airline company tell you about their fantastic country where you could travel, like Mauritius, Balearic Islands, Dubai, Maldives Islands, Tahiti, Hawaii, and many others tourist country that the company propose. But with our company you will see that you never see before, you will discover that you never discover before. An authentic country, where there is no massive tourism, where you will be disoriented. We propose to you Ceylan, also called Sri Lanka.
First of all, let us talk about the geography. Ceylan is a little island of South Asia, of 65 610km², located in the South of India. It has a population of 20millions inhabitants and the urban population it is about 21,1%. This island offer a beautiful landscape with their beautiful beach of white sand, mountains, equatorial forest. The biggest town is Colombo. Now we can talk a little bit about history and culture. This country take part of the commonwealth. In fact it was occupated during the colonial era by the United Kingdom in 1796, in 1802 these country were declared a crown colony under the rule of the British Government. After the 2nd World War, Ceylan reclaimed her independence. And on 4th February 1948, they won their independence. Two principal language are spoken in this country : cingalais, the most spoken, and tamoul. There are many religions. The first it is Buddhism, it is the most important with 77% of the population. The other are Hinduism, Muslims and Christianism. It is a Democratic Socialist Republic. Her capital, and a great town to visit is Sri Jayawardenapura. Then let us talk about many visits you can do. First for archeologic visits, you can go to Anuradhapura, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Mihintale, Polonnaruva which was the capital during the VII and XIVth Century. For “natural” visits with beautiful landscape you should go to Adam Peak, national park of Horton Plains, nature reserve of Sinharâja.
