In this research project i will present you the subject i have chosen for my final Dissertation, i have decided to focus in one that can be largely develop and can be an inspiration for my creative personal work. I will focus in Art and text, it covers works that include some text, are made up of text, or are text. For a designer Art and text can provide plenty of source for thought and inspiration while the subject of our work is often the intersection of art, philosophy, and linguistics. There is a lot to say around this subject but since the work of the dadaiste is there always a new relationships between text and image ? Since the early 20th century, artists are making text both a literal and metaphorical focus in a work of art. How has been text used through art and design? The research for my dissertation will help me to discover answer to those questions and bring me to a major interrogation about the use of type nowadays. Today, typography are mixed in text, artefacts, installation... Some conceptual artists creations are clearly a new way of approaching poetry.
METHODOLOGY:

This seems especially true in the use of text in art, which appear in particularly as an artistic medium in the 1960s, perhaps as a result of an interest from the poets, experimental writers and theorists of that generation, such as William Burroughs, Allan Ginsberg and Marshall McLuhan. I will try, in my research, to understanding the motivation for the use of text and why it is an art form distinct from the billboard advertisement. Although with some illustrated examples we'll see what is the language-based art, and the use of text as image. This will integrate an exploration of the notion of text as image, and text as a means for
