Gad Elmaleh
Gad Elmaleh is born the 19 April in 1971 in Casablanca.
He is a French Moroccan humorist and actor.
Gad grew in Casablanca in Morocco so he speak French and Arab. He is of Jewish religion. He has got a little brother and a big sister. In 1988, at 17 years old, Gad leaves Morocco to go to study the political sciences in Montreal. Then at 22 years old Gad comes in France to Paris, to do an artistic training course during two and a half years. He is the dad of a boy, Noé, been born the first November 2000 of his union with the actress Anne Brochet, and he is separated with she since 2002. Actually Gad lives in Paris and he is in couple with the actress Nora Arnezeder.

Gad's first contact with cinema was the film, “Salut cousin !” by Merzak Allouache. He later appeared in « L'homme est une femme comme les autres » and « Train de Vie ». He also appeared in a lot of films, for exemple : “Chouchou” or “Coco” where he is the principal actor.
His first one-man show was “Décalages” in 1996, the second was “La vie normale” in 2000, the third was L’autre c’est moi” in 2004 and the last one was “Papa est en haut” in 2007.
His biggest succest was the film “Coco” and the one-man show “Papa est en haut”.
