John Lennon_Was born on 9th October 1940 at Liverpool
_Brought up by his aunt Mimi
→ father is missing
→ mother abandon John
_About 16 years later :
→ meet his mother again get well with her both share the passion for music she learned to him to play the bango
_John decides to create a band. _At the age of 17 :
→ meet Paul Mc Cartney and integrated him in his band.
→ Paul learned to John how to play the guitar
→ They decide to call their band Quarrymen.
_Studied at Liverpool College of Art but he didn't like it. He miss one of his examen & left school before the end of the year
_His mother died in July 58 because of a car accident. John didn't bear it.
_After this dramatic evenement, he decides to go to Hamburg in Germany in 1960 with his band The Silver Beetles rename a little bit later the Beatles.
_Mimi is afraid of this trip & try to convince John to go back to his studies. But john is not agree with that!
_The Beatles Mania began. _ On the 10th april 1970 the Beatles broke up.
_John Lennon continued his solo career he had begun 2 years earlier.
_In july 1971, he released his well-known album Imagine
_The 30th August 1971, he moved to New York and 1 year later he gaves 2 charity concerts at Madison Square Garden and it was the 2 last complete concerts but he still wrote songs.
_ On the 8th December 1980, at almost 11p.m, after an evening's work in the studio, he returnes to his apartment near Central Park and received 5 bullets from a revolver fired by the unfortunatly famous Marx David Chapman. 15Minutes later his death are pronous.
I chose this topic because this weekend I watched The Nowhere Boy, which describes John Lennon's life & I really enjoyed this
