Kurt Donald Cobain was an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Nirvana.
Kurt Donald Cobain was born on February 20, 1967, at Grays Harbor Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington,Cobain was born into a musical family. His maternal uncle Chuck starred in a band called The Beachcombers, his Aunt Mari Earle played guitar and performed in bands throughout Grays Harbor County.Cobain began developing an interest in music early in his life. According to his Aunt Mari, he began singing at two years old.Cobain began singing and playing the piano, writing a song about their trip to a local park. He would listen to artists like the Ramones and sing songs like Arlo Guthrie's "Motorcyle Song," The Beatles' "Hey Jude,"Terry Jacks' "Seasons in the Sun" and the theme song to The Monkees television show at a young age.

His parents divorced when he was eight years old, an event which he later said had a profound effect on his life.His mother noted that his personality changed dramatically Cobain became more defiant and withdrawn.

The teenage of Kurt was difficult. He is interested by other things than the other people, for exemple, music and art. and in cantrary than the other boys he doesnt like sport and he was lonely. At school he become friend with an homosexual and some people criticize him. He was arrest in 1985 because he tagged « HOMO SEX RULES » (vive le sex homo)on a chair. Two weeks before his las years of school he abandonne school. An oncle of Kurt offered his first guitare for his 14. First he a&pprend famous sings and he began to writte his songs.
Rather fast, he tries to form a group, but does not reach there at once, his friends missing motivation or musical talent. He records however a demo with one of these short-lived groups, Fecal Matter, whom he forms with Matt Lukin and Dale Crover (also member of the Melvins where he is a drummerbeater. He eventually meets Krist Novoselic, too
