Abstract L’objet de cet article est de présenter le fruit de plusieurs années d’observation et de réflexion sur ce qu’est véritablement l’entreprise : sa finalité, sa performance, ses modes d’organisation et de contrôle. Les principes de bon management qui y sont développés ont trait à l’efficacité, la croissance, l’innovation, la confiance, le pouvoir, la concurrence et l’apprentissage. Ils sont complétés par des suggestions quant au fonctionnement et à l’organisation future des entreprises. The aim of this paper is to present a synthesis of several years of observation and analysis of the way companies are managed: their goals, their performance, their organization, and their control. The principles of good management which are presented, deal with concepts such as efficiency, growth, renewal, trust, power, competition and learning. A few suggestions are made with respect to what might be the future organization of companies.
