Après le succès rencontré par les matériaux composites dans l'aéronautique et le spatial et grâce aux recherches menées ces dernières décennies sur leurs applications dans le génie civil, ces matériaux se développent de plus en plus dans la construction de façon concrète.

A travers cette synthèse, nous allons aborder l’importance des matériaux composites au sein du BTP. Par la suite nous présenterons les différentes solutions qu’ils offrent en terme de renforcement structurel et finalement nous nous intéresserons à une technique innovante et esthétique de renforcement qui à été mise au point, en mettant en œuvre le collage à froid d'un tissu de fibres de carbone (TFC) à l'aide d'une matrice de résine.

After the success met by composite materials in the aeronautics and Aerospatiale and thanks to the researches led these last years on their application in the civil engineering, these materials develop more and more in the construction in a concrete way.

Through this report, we are going to approach the importance of composite materials within the BTP (BUILDING AND CIVIL ENGINEERING WORKS).Then we are going to presenting the various solutions which they offer in terms of structural intensification and finally we are going to interesting us in an innovative and aesthetic technique of structural reinforcement created, by operating the cold sticking of a woven material of carbon fibers (TFC) by means of a matrix of resin.
