BIOGRAPHIE :
SUM 41 est un groupe de punk rock canadien créer en 1996 à Ajax dans l’Ontario le 41éme jour de l’été d’où le nom SUM 41. Il a étais créer par Deryck Whibley (chanteur et guitariste) et Steve Jocz(batteur). Ensuite il rencontre Dave Baksh(guitariste) et Jason McCaslin(bassiste) est la le groupe est officiellement créée. Les quatre adolescents ont alors 16 ans. C’est en 1999 que SUM 41 signe son premier contrat avec le label Island Record. En 2000 le groupe sort un premier album appeler puis en 2001 il sorte un second album appelerqui a étais vendu a plus de trois millions d’exemplaire en seulement dix mois,c’est cette album qui feras décoller le groupe. Ensuite il enchaine leur troisième album appeleret après plus rien jusqu'à 2004 ou ils sortent et trois ans après ils sortent leur dernier album pour l’instant appeler.
