INTRODUCTION
The Social Security is a public service, which provides an insurance covering all risk of social workers, employees and professionals, freelancers and self-employed, agricultural workers, these people working in France, or as employees abroad. Social Security provides benefits under the Social Security Code. Various private entities are in charge of the management of the social security, but are responsible for a public service remit.
In france, we can notice that the social security system had been progressing since the Previous Regim (before 1789). At those times, the concept of assistance was rather primitive, and the help offered to people as charity. The Revolution of 1789 and therefore the creation of the Declaration of Human Rights and Citizen had consequently enabled people to reflect a new designed assistance. The industrial age and the technical and technological improvements experienced the 19th century the need for an expansion of the social security system, because of health and security problems due to working activity. At the end of the second World War, the first article of the Ordinance of 4 October 1945 states : “there shall be established an organization of social security dedigned to ensure workers and their family against any risks can reducing or eliminate their earning capacity, to cover expenses maternity and family responsibilities they bear”.
In this report, we are first going to explain how does the French social security system works, wich are its entities, their functions, and then, we will show the relationship between social security law and labour law.
