Queen Elizabeth II
The current Monarch in the United Kingdom is the Queen Elizabeth II (full name Elizabeth Alexandra Mary). She is the elder daughter of KingGeorge VI and Queen Elizabeth; she was born in 1926 and was crowned in 1952, at the age of 25. The Queen is married to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and has four children and eight grandchildren.Their residences are located at London, (for example Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Clarence House), in Sandringham, Edinburgh, and in northern Scotland, at Balmoral Castle.
Diana,Princess of Wales, is the younger daughter of Edward Spencer, and Frances Burke Roche. She was born Lady Diana Frances Spencer on 1 July 1961 in Norfolk. Lady Diana married The Prince of Wales at StPaul's Cathedral in London on 29 July 1981.
Family was very important to the Princess, who had two sons: Prince William and PrinceHenry. After her divorce from The Prince of Wales, in 1996, the Princess continued to be regarded as a member of the Royal Family.
Diana, Princess of Wales died on Sunday, 31 August 1997 following acar crash in Paris. Her funeral took place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 6 September 1997.

The Prince of Wales, eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip,Duke of Edinburgh (full name Charles Philip Arthur George), is The Heir to the throne of England. The Prince Charles was born on 14 November 1948 at Buckingham Palace. He could be the next king ofEngland. The Prince and Princess of Wales had two sons: Prince William and Prince Harry. If Charles refuses the throne, it will automatically return to William, the oldest of his son.
