We have so enjoyed our trips to Egypt over the last few years which have been made so interesting by your guiding expertise and local knowledge. We feel that you have, over this time, become a real friend to us. You have been so kind and generous with your time that we would like to return the hospitality.
We would like to invite you to the UK for a holiday so that we can return some of your goodwill, and show you some of the many varied sites we have in our country. We would like to show you the British hospitality and culture and hope that you will find it as inspiring and enjoyable as we have found your country. There are many places that may be of interest to you and we would be delighted to be your hosts and guide. Just let us know if there are any particular places you would like to visit and we will do our best to arrange it.
Our home is in South Wales but we will be able to meet you at either Heathrow or Gatwick Airport when you arrive. Interestingly, not far from here, in Swansea is the Egyptian Centre which is home to over 4000 artefacts from Egypt many being from the Sir Henry Wellcome collection. You may like to visit this museum as the artefacts will be of interest to you in your profession as an Egyptologist and guide.
Please consider this invitation and if you would like to come and visit just let us know and we would be absolutely delighted for you to stay with us. If you could let us know what dates would suit you, we can arrange to take time off work. I am not sure how long the post takes to get to and from Egypt so email and telephone would seem to be the simplest form of communication.
Should you need anything from us in order to get a visa, please let us know and we will do all we can to help you.
