ABSTRACT
Psychological and psychobiological profiles of highly gifted children This study was aimed at highlighting the psychological and psychobiological profiles of highly gifted children. Some characteristics such as abnormal pregnancy, premature birth, myopia, allergies, were found to be more frequently related to high abilities, and are likely to lead to develop a cerebral structure of its own, as already defined by other authors. Our study includes 45 highly gifted children dispatched in 2 groups according to the harmony of their intellectual profile and compared to a control group (n = 30). Our
