Abstract
La terminologie de l’œnologie frappe par l’abondance de ses métaphores. Notre article se propose de déceler leur spécificité et la façon dont elles ont été produites. En nous fondant sur l’approche cognitive de Lakoff et
Johnson, nous avons restitué les métaphores conceptuelles qui sous-tendent les expressions métaphoriques (i.e. les métaphores en langue). Cette étude a mis en évidence la générativité de la métaphore du CORPS en œnologie. La systématisation des métaphores conceptuelles et l’investigation de leur motivation ont été complétées par une analyse sémantique, dans la lignée traditionnelle intralinguistique. La description du mécanisme sémique de la métaphorisation a relevé la façon dont le réseau sémantique du vin a été réorganisé par rapport à celui du corps.
The abundance of metaphors in the terminology of the enology led us to investigate their specificity and the process by which they are produced. By applying the cognitive approach of Lakoff and Johnson, we reconstituted the conceptual metaphors which underlie their surface realization as metaphoric expressions. Our findings disclosed the generativity of the BODY metaphor in oenology. After systematizing the conceptual metaphors and investigating their motivation, we continued by a semantic analysis, in the intralinguistic tradition. The description of the semic mechanism in metaphorization revealed the way the semantic network of the wine was reorganized with regard to that of the body.
Die Fachterminologie der Weinkunde ist von Metaphern durchdrungen, was die Frage nach ihrer Spezifik wie ihrer Entstehungsweise aufwirft. In unserem Beitrag sollen daher – gestützt auf die von Lakoff und Johnson entwickelte konzeptuelle Metapherntheorie – die den verschiedenen metaphorischen Ausdrücken zu Grunde liegenden konzeptuellen Metaphern nachgezeichnet
