I wake up in my bed an remember that today isn’t going to be an ordinary day because today I was going to walk on the moon. But I’m not an astronaut, I’m just a journalist. Yes, it could be strange but today can walk on the moon, not really everybody, but very very rich people who can payed thousand of million euros. And no, I didn’t become rich since my last article last week, but I win a prize who gave the chance to go there.
So I was telling you my special day. Then I eat a very gloomy breakfast, they told me that it was freeze dried food. In my point of view my mum’s pancake’s are better. After that bring me an astronaut suit. It was so heavy, and I don’t tell you the temperature inside, I let you invent. After test series which want to make me vomit, I get into the rocket and sit in the cockpit with my camera, my best friend. After long minutes of waiting, I heard something… It was the countdown… 3… 2… 1… 0… Then I heard a big sound and I though that my fat aunt was sitting on my knees. I was so terrified to look out the window so I decided to sleep but the sound was so enormous that I didn’t sleep. When I decided to look at the window, I saw earth from very far, I also see the moon, very close ! I heard another countdown, and then astronauts told me to walk through the door and go down the scale. I was on the moon ! A big car get down from the rocket and astronauts told me that it was for me, and that I could used it now. So I decided to wander all around the rocket, but after a long time, which was to short for me, they told me to come back and go in the rocket. I sleept during all the return to earth and when they told me that we were arrive, I realize that my experience was finish. Etienne Canales, The Times
