Résumé:
Ce papier propose une évaluation empirique, à partir des données marocaines, de l’impact de la libéralisation financière sur la croissance économique. En utilisant le modèle à correction d’erreur, nous avons essayé de tester le sens de causalité (à court terme et à long terme) entre la sphère financière et la sphère réelle. Les résultats obtenus mettent en évidence un effet mitigé quant au sens de causalité entre les variables financières et la croissance économique. Les résultats de la cointégration et de la causalité de Granger supportent le paradigme d’une croissance tirée par le développement financier soit directement par l’amélioration de l’efficacité de l’investissement ou par la croissance des ressources d’investissement. Abstract:
This paper proposes an empirical evaluation, starting from Moroccan data, of the impact of financial liberalization on the economic growth. Using the model with error correction, we tried to test the direction of causality (in the short run and long-term) between the financial sphere and the actual sphere. The results obtained highlight an effect mitigated as for the direction of causality between the financial variables and the economic growth.
