The city of Cambridge is a university town and the administrative centre of the English county of Cambridgeshire. This city is 109,000 people strong, including more than 22,000 students. In fact, it’s best known as the home of the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s most famous universities. Every year, more than 1 million students try to pass their exam in Cambridge University. It is a delight to visit Cambridge in any season: relax in its numerous pubs, cafés, and restaurants, theatres, explore the independent shops around the historic market place or the free entry Museums, spot stars of the future at a student theatrical production, or see a show at the Arts Theatre.

What to do? : Shopaholics can hang around in the big shopping mall especially during the sales. Sportsmen can go punting on River Cam. Furthermore, those who aren’t keen on punting should climb the endless stairs of the Great St-Mary’s overlooking the whole city, and take pictures of the magnificent view when reaching the top. How to go there? : Cambridge is easy to get by road, air or rail. It’s just 50 minutes far from London centre. London Stansted airport is only 60 kilometres far from Cambridge, 1 hour drive.
