Setting : The story mostly takes place in Forks, Washington, but the characters go to La Push too. At the end, they are in Italy and they return in Forks after.

Point of view narrator: Isabella Swan is telling the story and she's the main character.

Summary: On Bella's 18 birthday, her vampire lover's and his family decided to make her a little party. When the clumsy girl opens her gifts, she cuts herself with the wrapping paper. The blood's smell makes Jasper, the adopted brother of Edward, become crazy and he tried to kill Bella. To protect her, Edward and his family decided to move far away from Forks. Bella felt broken heart and depressed during a couple of month and meanwhile, she find a way to hear Edward's voice in her head, she had to do dangerous activities like motorcycle. She also find comfort in her friend's arms, Jacob who she discovered that he is a werewolf. One day, Alice (Edward sister's) came to Bella's house because she had a vision of her jumping off a cliff. She thought she was dead so when Edward learned the sad new, he went in Italy to provoke the Volturi,vampires royalty who are able to kill him.
