1. Australia’s first inhabitants and their tradition.

The first inhabitant is the aborigines. The aborigines have been living in Australia since 40 000 years. Their life was very simple; they spent hours gathering, hunting and fishing. The traditional aboriginal objects are the didgeridoo, it’s an instrument, it was 20 000 or 50 000, the boomerang a weapon, the claps sticks are the Australia’s percussion…But today, the European destroy their culture and they become Australia citizens.

2. James Cook.

James Cook was born in October 1728, on 27th and he died in February 1779, on 14th.He was a navigator and James came in the British’s marine in 1755. He explored to the South Pacific on his boat, The Endeavour. The cap horn was in his road, when he went to the new-Zealand and to Australia at the time of he did his first travel in 1768 to 1771. When he did his second travel, he explored the Antarctica. Cook did his third travel in 1776, he explored the Pacific.

3. When and why colons came to Australia.

In 18 century, Colons came in Australia, because
England’s prisons are overpopulated. 11 English boats, manage to the captain Arthur Phillip, went to Port Jackson. They left in May 1787, 450 marines and their family with 714 prisoners came in Australia for live. The day of the “First Fleet” is the national day in Australia.

4. The seasons.

The Australia’s seasons aren’t same than the French’s seasons. The winter is in June to August, and the Sumer is in December to march. The aborigines of Kakadu have got 5 seasons: the yegge is a season cooler, but humid, the wurrgeng is a season colder, the gurrung is a season hot and dry, the gunumeleng and the banggereng are a season’s storm.
