Facebook is a new innovation. It offers you an opportunity to interact with an extraordinarily expansive universe of new people. You can sculpt your on-line identity to create new relationships. For the entrepreneurially minded, it might be an introduction into business.
The website currently has more than 500 million active users worldwide.

How the Facebook’ creator is become the youngest billionaire?

In one hand, we’ll talk about Facebook’s history, in the other hand we’ll talk about the concept of Facebook, and finally, we’ll mention success and the economical aspect of Facebook.

I- Facebook’s history

Mark Zuckerberg wrote Facemash, the predecessor to Facebook, on October 28, 2003. The site used photos that were placing the one beside the other for asking users to choose the 'hotter' person".
To accomplish this, Zuckerberg hacked Harvard's computer network. Facemash attracted 450 visitors and 22,000 photo-views in its first four hours online.

The site was quickly forwarded to several campuses, but was shut down a few days later by the Harvard administration. Zuckerberg was charged by the administration with breach of security, violating copyrights, and violating individual privacy, and faced expulsion. However, the charges were dropped.

The following semester, Zuckerberg began writing code for a new website in January 2004. He was inspired, he said, by an editorial in “The Harvard Crimson” about the Facemash.
On February 4, 2004, Zuckerberg launched “Thefacebook”, a social networking website with Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes while they were students at Harvard University.
Website membership was initially limited to Harvard students, but was expanded to other colleges and university. The website is named: www.facebook.com and it refers to the paper facebooks give to incoming students, faculty, and staff as a way to get to know other people on campus.
