I want to thank all the employees of the Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton, for their kindness and their warm welcome.
Particularly, I would like to underline the leading roles the Sales & Marketing and the Meetings and Events departments played. I thank all of them for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their teams. Without this precious help, nothing would have happened, and I am very grateful.
The Sales & Marketing team, who I shared 3 months with, are a great group of people; Noku, who trained me and who I followed the example of; Motheo, Emmanuel and Yugashnee, the Sales
Managers who I learnt from, and of course the director Sean Bradley who trusted me and supported me a lot.
I spent three more fabulous months in Meetings & Events, where I got a chance to know hard working people, dedicated to their jobs; It was such a pleasure to work alongside with Larisha,
Sharon and Clara, who taught me everything about event planning; and in operations with Joseph, the event manager, and the boys, who empowered me and also made me feel like a member of the team. These people showed a lot of patience, pedagogy and sympathy. I learnt a lot from them, and they made this stay in South Africa unforgettable.
And finally, because this hotel is delivering its promises by the coordination of each and every of its services with each other, I want to thank the reservation department, the accounts, the restaurant, the front office, concierge and housekeeping teams, for their co-operation.
This experience will be an asset to me in the future, and it is thanks to you all.
