Dr Mortimer visits his friend Holmes. He asks him help for Mr. Charles Baskerville’s murder who was his friend. According to a legend, there is a curse on Baskerville Family who lives in a godforsaken mansion. Dr Mortimer tells him the story about the curse : In 1742 in the mansion of Baskerville lived Hugo a wild man and bloodthirsty. A day he snatched a girl from his father for marry to him. He was celebrating the event with his friend but during the party she managed to escape. When Hugo realized that with friends and horse rider chased her, fearing for her life. But when they arrived they found the body of Hugo and the girl bloody on the ground. There was a huge dog with fangs sunk into the the throat of Hugo. Since that event there is no members of Baskerville’s family died of natural causes. They all died by accident, death or drowning. After his story about the family of Baskerville Dr Mortimer shows to Sherlock Homes a newspaper relating the decease of Sir Charles Baskerville caused by a heart attack according to the official document. But Dr Mortimer find the body and thinks Dr Mortimer is not dead owing to a heart attack, because near the body he saw the impressions of a strange thing but quickly erased by the rain. So with these evidences he thinks about the legend of the Baskerville. Holmes meets Sir Henry Baskerville the last heir came from Canada. Sir Henry receives an unidentified letter advertising him not to go to the manor because a danger is waiting for him. In spite of dangers, Sir Henry decides to get back to the mansion. Dr Mortimer and Watson travel with him. Sherlock Holmes will stay in London because he is busy. Arrived in Grimpen they are advised of a jailbreak. When they arrive to the mansion they are greeted by the husband Barrymore. (the stewards of the manor). The manor seems dark dreary. Watson is convinced that the married couple there is a secrecy around them. The following day Watson is taking a walk and met Mr Stapleton a
