During an alcoholic night of october 2003, a Harvard student that just been thrown away by his girlfriend hacks the whole security system of Harvard to create a website that will compare all the girls of the campus, named Facemash, where the user only has to vote for the hottest girl of the two that are shown. It immédiatly has a real success, as much as the twins Winklevoss and Divya Narendra, other Harvard students want to recruit them to make a website, HarvardConnection, that will allow all Harvard users to communicate together.

Mark agrees with it, but start another project on his own, when the three students think he his working on their website, and with the help of Eduardo Saverin, that brang the first $1000 for the website, they start working on TheFacebook, that takes place on the same ideas than HarvardConnection.

Once they have finished it, the twins notice TheFacebook is the copy of their website, and try stopping this.
A bit later, Mark and Eduardo have to recruit new partners, and Mark is always the only one giving his company’s parts to newcomers, as if he didnt care about money.

Then, Eduardo, as the Business Manager of the company, decides that it’s time to make money of the website, that’s why they meet Sean Parker, another website maker, to chat about how to make money.
He tells that trying to make money so fast will make TheFacebook worth 1 million $, when it could worth 1 billion $.

When Eduardo searchs sponsors in New York, Mark and his team of coders go to California, in order to be together to work, and that’s where they meet Sean again, who is their Neighbors, so he joins them, and gets 7% of the company.
When Eduardo comes back, he does not agree with that, because Sean isn’t trust full in his eyes.

For the 1 million members, many things happened :
-Eduardo learn that his part of the company went down from 30% to 0.03%, what makes him really angry
-Sean decides to make a giant party for this event, but the cops arrive
