Nécessité d’un verbe intransitif dans ces constructions (*there sang a song to pupils), mais : There grew the full luxuriance of blossoming shrubs
Car exigences syntaxiques, there prend la place du sujet , il y a inversion, le sujet réel suit le verbe ; Donc, si on a un vb transitif, on ne sait plus où mettre le COD, le sujet réel étant à la place du COD.
