What is it?
Foster is the term used for a system in which a child is placed by the state in a new family certified of being able to receive a child.
The family receives money from the state to take care oh them.
The family is supposed to give affection, food, a home, a new start, what he didn’t have before.
If the child creates some strong links with his new family, the family can ask for an adoption and “keep” him/her.
