Presentation about Woodstock

1969 in the United States of America the Vietnam War has been started since 1965,the
American had come to support the Republican Vietnam against the communists. There was also the Cuba crisis when the Sovietics put missiles in Cuba toward the U.S.A in
1962 so the US president J.F.Kennedy threatened them with the Nuclear Bomb, finally the URSS removed the missiles and avoids a Nuclear War. Meanwhile Martin
Luther King protested for the black people rights in 1965 and Kennedy was killed in 1963 like Malcolm X in 1965 and Robert Kennedy in 1968. Luther King was killed in 1968. That’s why in 1968 Hippy movement contested the Vietnam War and the consummation society. Therefore in Vietnam some American soldiers started decorating their helmet with hippy slogans such as “ Make music not war”. So John
Roberts, Joel Rosenman, Arthur Kornfeld and Michael Lang wanted to do something for the hippies. First they wanted to decorate a music studio to the hippy style but afterwards they wanted to organize concerts in Woodstock ( city where lots of hippy singers lived like Bob Dylan) but they decided to make a music and art fair still in
Woodstock. So they let an industrial field near Woodstock but the Woodstock inhabitants were against this hippy meeting and voted a law and they had to leave.
One day a farmer from a little village called Bethel agreed to let his field against the sum of $ 75 000 but he was said that there would be only 50 000 persons but a half million person came. Rosenman, Roberts, Kornfeld and Lang thought that it would be easy to find hippy singers. Fortunately all the hippy representatives came such as
Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix… . Nobody thought that Woodstock would be a success but it was.
The Woodstock fair started the Friday August 15th 1969, continued the Saturday
August 16th 1969 and finished the Sunday August 17th 1969. The first day Sweetwater had to sing first but the group was stuck in
