In our individualistic societies, more and more persons act like they want and refuse to do things which they don’t want to do. However people should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing, even it is hard to counter his own wish. Going to university is not my pleasure but I know it’s for my good so I force me. For example, I study a lot of subjects which I find annoying now but I suppose that it will allow me to have a great and interesting job later. All this work and efforts are a way to have a better lifestyle, I think it’s a good reason to do this kind of things.

Similarly, my father leaves very early every morning, around 6, to go to work. I think it’s a difficult personal choice but it allows him to not undergo the crowd in public transport. At first it’s something that he doesn’t enjoy but in the end, it’s a personal comfort.

Finally, we often do things we don’t want to do because this is our habits. All the children learn to live in community and respect “society’s rules”. Everyone have to do some sacrifices because imagine if six billion people do only things they enjoy, it would be unbearable! It is part of our responsibilities to can live together.
