Desire: a strong feeling of want as opposed to need
Title: A streetcar is like a tramway, which has a track signifying that Blanche, Stella, Mitch and Stanley have already there life decided for them, as soon as they step on this streetcar, they can’t get off the track.
Pseudonym: Williams chose the name Tennessee Williams, because it is in the south, where lives the poorer population, because the plantations were destroyed. Belle reave represents the plantation the servants. Williams was from the Deep South. -The scenes go forward through revelations from the past
