Introduction: Foster care is the temporary placement of children with families or individuals outside of their own homes into licensed homes due to child abuse or neglect. What is it?
Foster is the term used for a system in which a child is placed by the state in a new family certified of being able to receive a child.
The family receives money from the state to take care oh them.
The family is supposed to give affection, food, a home, a new start, what he didn’t have before.
If the child creates some strong links with his new family, the family can ask for an adoption and “keep” him/her.
