Une investigation empirique sur les déterminants de l’investissement privé au Maroc

Abstract
Private investment factors hold particular attention from public authorities. In literature, many theories hence attempt to contribute to the advancement of the understanding of the private investment mechanism, to try to explain the factors that encourage it. The core idea in this study is to analyze the private investment determinants both in the long and short terms in Morocco, using the annual data available from 1970 to 2007. By using JOHANSEN cointégration technique and error correction modeling, the study reveals that in the long term, the gross national product, the terms of trade, the public investment, the business climate index positively and significantly affect private investment, when the shifting interest rates and inflation negatively influence it. In the short term, only the business climate index has a positive effect. The public investment, the terms of trade negatively influence the private investment.

Les déterminants de l’investissement privé retiennent une attention particulière de la part des autorités publiques. Dans la littérature, Plusieurs théories tentent ainsi de contribuer à l’avancement de la compréhension des mécanismes de l’investissement privé, pour essayer d’expliquer les facteurs qui l’encouragent.
