Arthur Coand doyle was born in Edinburgh in Scotland. He went to school at Stony hurts. Then he studied medecine at edinburgh University where he got a medical degree 1881. There he met the man who was to become the model for Sherlock holmes, dr josesph Bell.

Summary of the book:

Doctor watson is the narrator oh the book. The main character is Helen. The scene takes place at Baker street in April, in the year 83. Dr watson and sherlock holmes live in an apartment. A day, helen Stoner was come for tell her story, she have a problem. She lives with her step father, the doctor taylor who is mysanthrope. Before he lives in India and they have in their house a cheetah and a baboone. Julie the sister of Helen is dead and her death it's a mistery. Helen wants to discover the reality. Before her death, Julie heard strange song in her room. Helen sllep in is former room because of work in her house. She scared to death too because she heard the same song that Julie heard. So, sherlock holmes and watson come to the house for find the problem. They come when the doctor is missing. Whereas the room is close and it's impossible that someone enter in this. They discover a terrible mistery.

My favorite scene it's when Helen tell about the death of his sister becasue the sotory is touching. She tell with lot of details and we can imagine esaly the scene.
