Introduction
Women’s position in the labour market changed over the last 30 years. Indeed, women employment has significantly increased: in the UK around 12,658,000 working age women are in paid formal employment. In the same time, we can notice that men’s experiences are in reduction. It seems that women are almost in equal position than men, but in reality it always exists inequality between men and women’s position in the labour market. The labour market demands and its structure are changing and what is more the gender difference has a trend to gradually decrease that, though, does not necessarily mean that they have already disappeared.
