Hugh Laurie

Introduction: One of the most talented TV series’ actors in Hollywood is Hugh Laurie with is TV series « Doctor House ». Laurie is a writer, comedian and a musician too!
I really love him in the TV series Doctor House because, in this one, he plays very good the doctor nasty and strict!

Biography

Laurie was raised in the Scottish Presbyterian church; he was excluding when he said:” I don’t believe in god or destiny of some kind looking down on us, that if he saw you taking anything for granted he’d take it away”.
He was brought up in Oxford and attended the Dragon school. He late went on to Eton College and then to Selwyn College, Cambridge, where he achieved a third-class honours degree in archaeology and anthropology and was a member of the prestigious Hawk’s Club.
Like his father Laurie was an oarsman at School University; in 1977, he was a member of the junior coxed pair that won the British national title before representing Britain’s Youth Team at the Junior World Raving Rowing Championship. He abandoned rowing to begin comedy in Cambridge Footlights.
It wasn’t in 1982 what Laurie has played in his first comedy show for Granada Television; Alfresco with his comedy partner: Fry.
Fry and Laurie went on to work together on various projects in the 1980s and 1990s. Among them were the Blackadder series, written by Ben Elton and Richard Curtis. After Fry and Laurie began sketch comedy series: A bit of Fry and Laurie. VERY SUCCET!!
They were detected!! After they played in loads of films with big success: Sense and Sensibility (1995), 101 Dalmatians (1996, he played the kidnapping), Maybe Baby (2000), Girl from Rio (2004) and the celebre Stuart Little!!
