ABSTRACT
Ageing population is a global phenomenon all across Europe, and France has to face the problem too. The increase number of elderly in France is a challenge for the governmental policies. Today, the policies have to answer the request of the population about elderly. These policies focus on the home care policy and on the development of the care institutions. The aim is to give a good way of living to the elderly by maintenance in the person environment and by an improvement of the quality of the care institutions. However, despite all the measures that are taken, the challenges for the government are still a reality.
