Should the law that says that it is accepetable to take someone off life support but not to kill them be modified ?

In other words, should we euthanasia legalize ?

Euthanasia is often called “mercy killing”. It is sometimes the act of ending someone’s life, who is terminally ill, or is suffering in severe pain. Euthanasia is mostly illegal in the world today and it provoke a real debate.

In the hand, different reasons encourage us to be against.
At first, in certain religions, the life is considered as a godsend and man can not dispose of it.
Furthermore, with advances in medicine about palliative care, euthanasia would be useless.
Finally, there are many risks of euthanasia : for exemple, the patient who suffer can ask to die but he does not want really it.

In other hand, euthanasia can be a solution. It seems to be illogical to keep someone in life if this person is confined to bed for life. The patients often stay in hospital and they suffer a lot. If they want to die, we can respect their choice. It concerns « their » life.

In my opinion, euthanasie should be legalise but it would be allowed under specific conditions.
For exemple, in the Netherlands, euthanasia is legal but there are specific conditions :
- the patient must have an incurable illness
- the patient must be experiencing "unbearable suffering"
- the patient must be of sound mind and have given consent
- the termination of life must then be carried out in a medically appropriate
