Angell about his opportunity. While my resume outlines most of my achievements and experience, I would like to highlight my previous main experiences in the financial world. From 2008 to 2009, I worked in two different companies, both in the Investment sector. I had the opportunity to explore different types of investment. First, I worked as an intern in the Asset Management Structured Products department of the Societe Generale. I learned how to elaborate some complex financial products with the help of a large range of financial instruments available on the market. The idea of maximizing expected return and minimizing risk is of great interest to me. During my second long term Internship, as analyst at A Capital, I discovered the Private Equity field. My position did not only require some technical knowledge, but also a strong business background. My main mission was to analyze the different investment opportunities, mainly focusing on the emerging markets. For example, I worked on several sustainable development projects as photovoltaic farms in Sub-Saharan Africa. I really enjoyed assessing and synthesizing financial information and preparing documentation to assist management when making critical business decisions. Working for Harvest Power would therefore be a logical step for my career and would allow me to continue in my field of interest. It is for me the perfect position that combines finance and alternative energy. Doing finance and be useful for the environment is why I am applying for this internship.
