Dear Madam,
I am interested in applying for the trainee position you are offering at your company. The challenge offered by the post is one that I would welcome. The skills I have developed from my academic background, my interest for tourism and my work experience can correspond to what you are looking for.
As you can see in my résumé, I am working towards a degree in foreign languages so I can speak fluent English; I have a good foundation of the Chinese language and knowledge of Indonesian as well. Even though I do not have a degree in tourism, my Bachelor diploma has trained me in very different ways and has helped me open my mind to different perspectives. My work experience has granted me an inside view of how a company can be organised and how I can establish my place within a team. My experience has also taught me how to deal with consumer expectations. Although I have no experience in the tourism field, I am passionate about travelling; and it would be a great experience to help people make their own journeys unforgettable.
I have prepared a brief account of my experience, background and personal details, which you will find enclosed as well. If you think I may be suitable for this position, I would be happy to answer your questions at your convenience. Please, do not hesitate to contact me at any time by e-mail or on Skype.
Yours faithfully,
your
