K-pop dances in Montreal

MONTREAL, QUEBEC- On this day, a dance crew formed by college students all over Montreal decided to show their dancing talent and their love of Korean hip hop music and dance. East2West, the dance crew’s name, was created in fall 2010. K-pop lovers gathered together to form this group with one goal: spread k-pop around the world. For the past few months, they created their own choreography for many songs from different popular bands such Big Bang, Super Junior, Shinee or 2PM. The performance was held at Salle Marie-Gérin-Lajoie near the UQAM (Université du Québec à Montréal). Around a thousand of people attended their show. “It seems that they have someone who is a pro dancer, maybe the dances will be quite awesome.” said a fan before the show started. Actually, it seemed that, for their first appearance on stage, it turned out to be a great success. During the performance, they obviously had dance covers of popular songs and some raffles for prizes such as signatures from Taeyang, a Korean singer, a CD from David Choi, a singer on Youtube, cameras and many other things. Maybe, next year, more people may have the chance to attend this amazing event. A must see!

Sony brings us to another level of gaming

TOKYO, JAPAN- On this day, Sony announced the release of the company’s next product: the PSP2 also called the NGP (Next Generation Portable). The release date isn’t specific, but it’s around the end of 2011. Many new features have been added to improve the previous version of the PSP. During the announcement, they presented what people expect to have on this console: the touch screen, two cameras, a GPS, the speakers, a microphone, Wi-Fi, 3G network connectivity and many other interesting features. “With so many features, it will be a sensational hit for everybody” said a spectator who assisted at the presentation.
