Sleeping Is Life’s Greatest Pleasure

This article is about a survey regarding life’s greatest little pleasure organized by the Bachelor Cup-A-Soup company among 3,000 Britons.

Rob Stacey spokesman of this company, carried out the poll and implied, no one can beat the feeling of getting into bed after a long, hard day.

In this study, a tenner in your pocket came second, closely followed by cuddling up to a loved-one in bed. Others like having a lie-in and sleeping in freshly-washed sheets took the road of the ranking of British people’s most pleasure.

Moreover, crying with laughter, making someone smile and catching up with an old friend can be found in the top ten. Some factors show that lot of Brits prefer the same satisfaction.

However, according to the result of this survey, in which most of their top fifty pleasures don’t need any money, that reflect it’s often that the little things can enrich our life. Indeed, “the little gestures such as a quick cuddle or a compliment can really help to cheer someone up if they are having a bad day, and can even be more welcome than splashing out on expensive presents”. In other words, often the smaller things that can make a big difference. The daily life brings everyday’s personal satisfaction and professional. In the world, money is taking an important place in the society, while this survey totally refuted people’s thought.

Similar pleasures listed as the top ten of this ranking can be approved by people from all over the world. In fact, we’ve performed it in our own class and got the same heavy proportion for sleeping, while obtained some other results in our top ten ranking, for example smoking, meeting friends, doing sports, eating favorite foods, and going to parties.

To our mind, we appreciated this article because it revealed that every human being has the possibility of enjoying every small happiness moments, which matters our standards of lives as well as the geographic
