Time is an American news magazine.
The magazine was created in 1923 by Briton Hadden & Henry Luce, making it the first weekly magazine in the United States. The first issue of Times was published on March 3, 1923 featuring or its cover Joseph G Cannon, the retired Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. The distinctive Time writing style brought him criticisms, for example on September 10th, 2007 the Indonesian Supreme court awarded former Indonesian President Suharto damages against Time Asia magazine, ordering it to pay him on trillion rupiah for libel.
Nowadays a European edition is published from London; Time Europe cover the Middle East, Africa and since 2003 Latina Americana. An Asian edition (Time Asia) is based in Hong Kong and the South Pacific edition covering Australia, New Zeeland and the Pacific Islands, is based in Sydney. That’s why Time is the world’s largest weekly news magazine, and has a domestic audience of 20 million and à global audience of 25 million. As mind of 2006, R Stengel is the managing editor.

The progression of the law
In 1933 the Congress adopted the law Brady Bill which allow to control the would be buyers by the licensed gun dealers. In 1994, the law includes a 10 year ban on many assault weapons and huge magazines because as the article explains: “They seem to be designed more for gangbangers than sportsmen”.
